Louise O’Reilly is Network Development Manager for the development of the Global Science Gallery Network - a hugely ambitious international project for Ireland in partnership with research universities in leading cities of technological and cultural innovation around the world. Science Gallery focuses on inspiring and empowering young adults to think creatively about solutions to big global challenges by engaging them through a dynamic programme of science - art exhibitions, education programs and events, involving cutting edge research.
Louise is an experienced producer, project director and development manager across a portfolio of high profile cultural projects in Ireland. Louise has also worked as a lobbyist for the National Campaign for the Arts. Louise attended European Studies at Trinity College Dublin and La Sorbonne Paris. She is an alumna of the Clore Leadership Programme and guest lectures at Dublin Institute of Technology in Creative and Cultural Industries. Louise is an Ireland Funds Young Leader since 2012. She sits on the Board of Directors for CREATE, the National Development Agency for Collaborative Arts in Social and Community Contexts, and Corn Exchange Theatre.
